This year's Arabian Business Rich List includes 13 new entries, and the entry level has been raised to $700 million. Leading the list is Saudi Arabia's Prince Alwaleed, with a fortune estimated at $29.5 billion. The highest riser is fifth place Maan al-Sanea, who Arabian Business says is worth $10 billion – an impressive jump of $8.6 billion and a rise of 33 places up the list. The highest new entry, taking 27th position, is the 70 year old former deputy prime minister of Lebanon, with a $2.4 billion fortune. The top five slots also include the Al Rajhi family, the Hariri family, Nasser Al Kharafi and Maan Al Sanea. In seventh place is the Bin Laden family which the list describes as the giant of the Gulf construction industry.
